Climate change
This Tuesday the house republicans rejected a bill which would have recognized that human influence is the cause of climate change. Part of this is a refusal to actually accept the responsibilities that such an acknowledgment would entail, but the other, more dangerous aspect, is the outright refusal to take action in the face of unrelenting evidence.
